Permanent Makeup

TIPS FOR SEARCHING THE RIGHT TECHNICIAN

Ask what kind of certification and how much training the technician has had as there are some schools that send students off to practice after only 2 days of instruction.

Ask how long the technician has been practicing. Good work results from many years of experience and continued education on a regular basis as the industry is constantly evolving and improving its standards.

Ask if the technician belongs to any professional organization and/or association that revolves around the permanent makeup field. Proper support and access to pertinent, new information is essential to all Permanent Makeup Technicians.

Ask if the technician has any insurance covering their personal work, not a general coverage to the place where they work. Most insurance companies would check their professional background before issuing any coverage.

Schedule a consultation and ask to see a PORTFOLIO of before and after photos, as a picture is worth a thousand words. You can also ask if the technician has customer referral list.

Do not go for the lowest price. Permanent makeup prices range from $150 to $800 for each procedure. Base your decision on what you see and what you feel.
